Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled before they enter the preparation stage. If your order has not yet been packed or prepared for dispatch, we are happy to process your cancellation request. To do so, please contact us as soon as possible via our customer service line at 020 8805 0088 or by emailing sales@foodartuk.com. If the cancellation is made before order processing begins, a full refund will be issued without any deductions. However, once the order preparation has started, cancellation requests will not be accepted, and no refund will be issued.

Advance Payment Requirement & Order Confirmation

To ensure the swift and accurate preparation of your orders, a minimum advance payment of £100 is required. This payment is necessary to record and begin processing your order in our system. If the order is cancelled before preparation begins, the full amount including the advance payment will be refunded. However, if the order is cancelled after preparation is completed without a valid reason, the advance payment will not be refunded. This amount is retained to cover procurement, operational labour, and time costs. The preparation process of each order is thoroughly documented and can be shared with you upon request.

Missing Items, Damaged Products, or Incorrect Deliveries

Upon receiving your order, please inspect all items carefully. If there are any missing items, damaged goods, or wrong products, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Reports made after this period unfortunately cannot be considered for return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • ⁠Discounted or promotional items
  • Perishable goods requiring cold chain handling, due to food safety regulations

Refund Process

If any items in your order are missing, damaged, or have an unacceptably short expiry date, we offer a 100% refund for those products. You must inform us within 48 hours of receiving your order by sending clear photos of the issue to sales@foodartuk.com.
Once the issue is confirmed, we will issue a credit note, which can either:

  • ⁠Be deducted from your next invoice, upon your request,
  • Or the refund can be transferred directly to your bank account.

Please make sure to submit refund requests within the specified timeframe and include photographic evidence to allow us to resolve the issue promptly.
